  • Output from video editor for vcr recording, what format?

What compression should I use when exporting my videos from Ulead Video Editor? They are recorded from RR-G using Matrox Mjpeg max quality. Should I use *.avi Matrox Mjpeg or maybe Intel Indeo 5.11? I will export these files with the Matrox G400 dualhead to a vcr.

I don't want any quality loss from the original or as less as possble.

    System :
    Matrox G400 Dualhead
    Rainbow Runner G-Series

CeD a novis with video editing.

Don't bother creating a final output file. Use the cutlist editing feature of Ulead MSpro to output directly from the timeline to your VCR.

Full instructions can be found in the Tips & Tricks section of the site, but for those too impatient to read, just load your MSVE project, cue up your VCR and then hit the "enter" button.

If you use filters don't forget to check off "apply video filters" in the preview options. Otherwise they won't be used. Also set the preview options quality to "best".
