Premiere 5.1c + fields + fades
okay, I've already searched the forum 'cos I'm sure someone's mentioned this problem before, but no hits, so...
fades @ 352x288, no problems.
fades @ 704x576, wierd stuff, bad premiere maths or something -- the colour intensity skips a frame or two so you get a 'jump' where the fade ends and the unprocessed footage begins.
anyone know what i'm on about or knows how to fix??
have tried differing codecs, all with same results. i am getting very annoyed!!!
(btw, i've been using prem5 @352x288 for ages now, just doing a full-screen project to take advantage of new processor etc..)
