Mavel G400: Everything but mjpeg works.. Please help

I recently purchased a Marvel G-400 TV. And everything works. But when I try to capture with mjpeg using the PC-VCR it encode zero frames and ends up producing an avi containing only audio. After searching the forum I have seen similar problems reported with the Marvel and the RR on abit motherboards (I have a BP6). Has anybody figured out how to fix this problem short of getting a new board? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

I think you have a different problem.

This sounds similar to me as the year-old SBLive problem. Do you have an SBLIve installed ?

The problem with the BP6 has been reported more as a failure to recognise the TV-tuner, or possibly audio distortion and can normally be fixed by installing a power supply that delivers a minimum of 0.5amps on both -5v and -12v lines.

Yeah I do have a sound blaster live. Although I've tried removing all the cards from my system (but the g400 of course) and doing mjpeg encoding and it still gives me the problem.

My power supply is probably a generic 235 watt one. Although I have no idea what it's rated since it doesn't specify it anywhere. Should I look into getting a 300 or possibly even 400 watt power supply to replace it?
