I have bought a Marvel G200 PCI card and after editing video I now find that I cannot change the TV output settings to improve colour saturation. After moving the slider to change the saturation I can see the colour change on the TV monitor connected. But after I click OK and leave PowerDesk, I find that when I play an AVI file with PC-VCR Remote that the saturation has not changed at all. When I go back to PowerDesk I see that the slider is still in the desired position, it just doesn't seem to have any effect.
Can anyone give me some help or advice ?
When I originally installed the Matrox s/w from the CD-ROM I had no problem, but after upgrading to the latest drivers to resolve another problem (audio out of sync), I now find the TV output setting changes no longer stick. I've tried downgrading to the original drivers but that makes my system unstable. I'm using PAL.
System specs:
- Matrox Marvel G200 PCI 8Mb
- serial number ABW10642
- PowerDesk driver 5.30.007
- Display driver 4.11.01.2300
- bus type PCI, AWARD system BIOS
- motherboard chipset: Ali M1542/M1543, Aladdin-V
- CPU speed 333, AMD K6 cpu
- resolution 800x600
- Windows 98
- Matrox PC-VCR Remote version 1.51
- DirectX version 4.07.00.0700
