Rainbow Runner G Blue Screen of Death!

I have recently bought the RRG and I love the quality of the video capture. The TV tuner works great. But, trying to edit video or audio or trying to run the Ulead Video Tutorial causes a nice pleasing Blue Screen Crash. Now I'm a computer enthusiast and have solved many problems with Winblows over the years but, I can't fix this one. In fact I recently (within the last 2 weeks) have re-installed Winblows. My system, I built myself. I'm using the RRG with a Millenium G400 dualhead. I have tried to make the RRG behave. I really don't want to return it but, just using it to capture video only or for a TV tuner just isn't good enough. I bought it for inexpensive high quality video editing. If someone has some tips let me know. If you need more info on my computer and it's parts, tell me. Otherwise, I am reluctantly returning the RRG. Too Bad! It has potential!

What capture resolution are you using ?

I tried different resolutions. Capturing wasn't a problem. At first there was no sound but, I figured that out. I just can't edit without trouble.

sure you dont have any other mjpeg codecs installed?

A conflict from White Pine Cuseeme and the Rainbow Runner may cause this. Confusing is the computer when it tries to access the codec and gets the wrong one.

If you can, please post the addresses (hex numbers) that pop up on the BSOD (next to error or whatever, I haven't seen a BSOD in a while. )

Haig or Olliver might be able to help you given that info. In either case, Matrox TS will ask you for them.. so just copy 'em down next time.
