How full is your boot drive?

MSPro stores it's preview files in the C:\windows\temp directory. If the drive fills up this can cause various problems.

Before trying anything else try adding this to your autoexec.bat:

    SET TMP=X:\TEMP
    SET TEMP=X:\TEMP

where X: is your capture drive and \TEMP is a new TEMP directory you should create in the root of the capture drive.

If that doesn't help then holler again ;-)

Well, I seriously doubt this is the problem, but it's kinda good to check:

Make sure that in your preview options, you have interleave audio & video on and set to one.

Also make sure you have a really high limit (or no limit) set for your preview file space.

What would probably be really helpful for us is to give us your preview settings; what mode, what codec, are you sure you're not trying to break the 1/2 GB barriers, etc.
