I've recently installed Premiere v5.1 on my PC, and have initially had some success in capturing and editing video from a VCR source(using RCA socket input on my BoB).
This was only achieved after uninstalling all G200 Marvel drivers & PD, and installing latest driver version & Premiere v5.1 & Adobe Premiere 5.0 presets from Matrox site.
The Video capture function in Premiere appeared to work fine on initial attempt, however, I've not been able to replicate this consistently. I only appear to get partial capture.
My system specs are:
Pentium III 450Mhz CPU
128Mb SDRAM
Quantum fireball CX 6.4Gb HDD
Matrox Marvel G200 AGP card
Atrend ATC6220 M/board Intel 440BX Chipset
Is anyone able to provide any advice on what's required to enable Premiere v5.1 to capture video consistently, when using the Marvel G200 card? Or should I just be using Premiere for Editing and capturing in something like Virtualdub?
