Shipping to Europe?

What have we Europeans done, that we can not
have the Matrox RT2000 shipped to Europe.
Several companies I have asked has
declined to ship the card to me.
Is it some kind of protection of the Europeen
resellers?
The price from the reseller here in Denmark
is about twice the price in America! :-(
I think it is a bit TOO much if I have to use
a friend in America as "reshipper"!
What is all this bullshit about?
Can anybody help us poor unfortunate EU souls.

I don't know what the prices are like in Denmark, but refreshingly the price here in the UK isn't too badly inflated from the North American. We're talking £800 plus VAT here (around £950 total). In the States I've heard it will be $1199 plus state tax.

Don't forget that tax !

The UK prices looks good as the Danish
prices will be about 2000$

Maybe shipping,VAT and tax will take all
advantage of purchasing abroad.
