Hrm, I do have 3 harddrives. The point is, I don't want to have to reboot everytime I want to capture something. To me, it's avoiding the problem. Thus, while installing another Win98 on a different harddrive _may_ solve the problem, to me it's a hack.
I have an OS here, everything else is working fine, except for this one little thing. To me, it's a much more elegant solution to fix the problem directly, instead of just trying to avoid it.
"Without going into details, there are lots of reasons why you are still seeing the problem that has been fixed (some having nothing to do with Matrox or their drivers)."
Please, do go into details, stuff that I haven't tried yet, because it'd be a much better solution than having, what, 4 (win2k, linux, win98 Everything except for capture, win98 capture only) bootup options (5 when BeOS comes? )
coolfish.
