It's defenatly out. The install files was from nov. 99.. And the Premiere boot up picture says Prem. 5.5

But i still like MSP 6.0 better..

Where can you buy, download or find the MSP 6.0? I mean v6.0...
On dupecheck you can find only SEX not SIX (6.0)...
There's no mention of ver 6.0 on Ulead's website. (?)

After using Premiere 5.5 for about 4 hours, I decided that I just can't do without the more functional less elegant interface of MSP6... It is just so much easier for me to get things done in MSP6... Aside from all the extra plugins, I don't think there's another category where AP5.5 impressed me over MSP6. Way to go Ulead! I just love the blazing fast mpeg rendering!!! I'll defintely buy MSP6 when it becomes available.

Would someone explain what dupecheck is. I'm unfamiliar with it. It sounds like some sort of FTP search engine or something like that but I'm not sure. PLease excuse my ignorance. Also, what changes have you noticed in this new premiere 5.5? Is it better than 5.2 in any appreciatable way or is the version you have some early beta? Very curious how you guys found this..

I have just installed premiere 5.5 but I can´t find any diffrens betwen 5.1 and 5.5 and I can´t find any info about it on adobes homepage is it a joke or what?

I just read a post on desktop.video.rec from someone that got premiere 5.5 saying it supports OHCI 1394 hardware (such as the pyro and other inexpensive firewire. He didn't specify other changes aside from stability improvements. Could someone please tell me where to get a hold of it. I have 5.1 with my DV500 and I think OHCI could solve my win2000 firewire issues (the pinnacle firewire drivers BSODS the machine as soon as it's enabled, but the OCHI seems to install fine).
