matrox g200 & athlon-asus for desktop video..pl read

hai to all

iam running my system mainly for VIDEO EDIT using
ADS PYRO FIREWIRE (for DV) & MATROX MARVEL G200-TV ( ntsc) FOR
analog capture edit
i have VIDEO STUDIO for ADS & PREMIER 5 as well as ULEAD
MEDIA STUDIO 5 for analog edit using MATROX MJPEG CAPTURE

iam getting lot of DISPLAY PROBLEMS whatever i do with capture or editing

can some one pl guide to remove instability & also help to install in the best order

You have opened a 101 questions, most of which have been answered many times in this forum. I respectfully suggest before you go any further, you spend a little on-line time and read what seem to be the relevant threads to your problems over the past few months. Even if you do not find an answer, you will see the kind of info we need to know before we can answer more specific questions, rather than the vague telephone call to the doctor "I have a pain in the chest, what should I do?" when any of half-a-dozen organs could be causing it, or even the brain. However, the one thing I have been able to glean is that you have only one HDD: you need a second drive as master on the second IDE line for actually recording your video. This has been covered n times in this forum where n is a large integer.

Also, as I've mentioned in other threads, download and run Sisoft Sandra 99 (free of charge from many sites) to diagnose, benchmark a

nd obtain tips to fine-tune the system.

BTW: I see you have an NTSC Marvel, don't you use PAL in India?

hai thanks for the replt
basically i am looking for suggestion to have COMPATABILITY between ATHLON & MATROX G200
for EDITING DV (USING FIREWIRE & ANALOG using MATROX)
i know that i need 2 DRIVE
i do not want to bore with BIG POST..cause i know there are lot of TALENTED DOCTORS who can SUGGEST remedies even if we say PAIN I THE CHEST( i said little more than that)
BTW in india WE adopt PAL
( got from U.S. so NTSC & also no colrs while VIEWING TV..any reme dy for this

so pl suggest to to both DV & ANALOG with my setup
