  • Saveing icon locations while upgradeing PD

I am wondering if there is a way to "save" the saved locations of windows icons in PD. Is there a way to upgrade PD versions without haveing to rearrange the icons and resaveing, while doing it the 'proper' way of uninstalling useing the Matrox utility?

I've had no problems upgradeing over an older version before, but I want to upgrade my VTs also. So I figuer I might as well do things the right way the first time.

    Thanks,
    Mark F.

I'm sure that if anyone knew they would have responded.

3 reminders is wasting folks time

Ok then any tips, help, ideas for upgradeing VT without running the MATROX un-installer.

And yes I have heard the idea of exporting the PD reg entry for the Desktop Icons.

Hey I only tried once a day and sometimes not everyone logs on everday. Figuered I'd keep it were people could see it. Not like some, who post a question and get upset if they don't have a answer in 10 minutes or less.
