Interesting find, Elie!

I've been pondering the need for RAID, lately, however. With the advent of 40gig 7200 rpm drives, and DV running around 3.6meg/second, that whole paradigm for even more speed is beginning to fade. Only the uncompressed analog capture could possibly need the RAID's increased speed. If you're working with a DV source, it's never going to be 'raw video' ever again, after all.
