Installing MSP 6.0

I've just got MSP 6.0.
Does anyone know should I uninstall MSP 5.2 before installing it or can both programs exist without any conflicts?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but don't the two versions share the same Ulead32.ini file?

Can someone please confirm or deny.

They do share the same Ulead.ini, but with different headings in the file, so they behave themselves. Just a note, MSP 5 seems to act better with the G400 (in my experience). Especially with the dmb1 codec and the TV output feature. The interface for v6 is much nicer though, and with the MPEG editing, so I could see advantages to having both on the same system. I have a question, does anybody know if v6 is considered and upgrade (from Ulead with the discount for owning v5)? It seems like a completely different editor in its mannerisms. Or is it just a seperate program?

I'll have to agree with Sciascia, in that the RR-S also appears to have gotten no benefit from upgrading to version 6. It's actually a little 'stickier' than version 5.2, at least on my machine. As of yesterday, I replaced my Mystique220/RR-S with a Voodoo 3500 TV-AGP that I found at a local computer show for $175 (USD). I couldn't resist the deal. Now I'm Matrox-free...

Sciascia: they're separate programs residing in separate directories under the 'program files' directory (if installed in their default location).
