Need Help with Ravisent DVD playback

When I Insert a DVD into my Pioneer 10x DVD player I get an error message saying that I do not have enough video ram to play the dvd in my current resolution (1280x1024x32bitx100Hz). It only works if I drop the resolution to 1024x768x32bitx121Hz. Is there any workaround for this error or a patch or other dvd player that will let me watch dvd's without having to change my resolution... because it's very irritating... BTW my current setup:
PIII 600EB, 128 Mb Pc133 Ram, G400 Max, RR-G Series.
