  • AGP bus effects on Video Capture

I have a Marvel G400 on a Celeron 400 system overclocked to 450Mhz (6x75Mhz). I can run the Celeron stably at 540Mhz (6x90Mhz) bumping the core voltage up to 2.08V. My Soyo 6VBA+III will allow me to set AGP to either 90Mhz or 60Mhz. I usually set it to 60Mhz. I have not observed any video problems during the few and short periods I have set it to 90Mhz. I have read in other forums that the G400 can run and perform well at the higher frequencies. I am not a gamer so AGP at 1X or 2X, (i.e. video speed) does not concern me.
Assuming that I set my FSB to 90Mhz, my question is, what performance differences can I expect from the G400's video capture and processing capability while running it at 60Mhz as against 90Mhz. Will I be violating any specs to the video-capture chips, any warranties?
Another peripheral question... The PCI bus will be running at 30Mhz. Will this affect my hard disk's capabilities? I have a Maxtor 6800+ 20.4Gig drive.
    Thanks for the feedback.
Working...
