When i capture the dvd output of a film of my Creative dxr-2 card with Marvel g200
(704 X 576 X 25 (pal)) in every Mjpeg frame i find the even field of a film frame
and the odd field of the next film frame.
This is the effect of the conversion between marvel interallacced (50 hz/field) video and film (25 frame) format.
Yesterday, I've installed for some dvd test, the Creative dvd dxr-3 card, and with
PLEASANT SURPRISE, with same settings, the problem disappeared!!!!
I think all is caused by combination of field order capture of marvel and field order
output of dxr-3 (the same) and Dxr-2 (reverse).
Can I change the field order capture of
g200 marvel ??? I know that Matrox Rainbow Runner Studio, uses field order A and Marvel field order B capture:if this is true, with Matrox Rainbow Runner Studio there is the problem with dxr-3 and all is ok with dxr-2: is it correct ??
Note:
1) You can see the field of a mjpeg 704*576 avi file openig the same file in 2 windows with media player or using software like virtual dub.
2) An AVI with field conflict when is played in Mjpeg looks correct: the problem there is when I convert the file in other non interallacced format (mpg-4, mpeg2 frame format, indeo avi ,.....)
