My hardware configuration is:
Motherboard: ASUS P3V4X
CPU: Intel Celeron 433
Video Adapter: Matrox Marvel G200TV
RAM: 128 MB
Hard disk: 20,5 Gbyte IBM
Can you help me with these infos?
The problem is that I can't reach capture settings, the computer crashes. Also I can't start to capture, even if I don't click to settings button. Why?
1. Uninstall Videowave completely, using the programs's uninstall option if there is one. Otherwise use Add/Remove Programs in windows control panel. Restart your computer.
for details (and there are a lot of details!). To check your current driver version, right-click on the monitor icon in your taskbar system tray. Choose "Help," then choose "About." The current driver version should be displayed. Otherwise go to Start>Settings>Control Panel, then double click the "System" icon. Choose the "device Manager" tab. Double click "Display Adapter"
and double click "Matrox Marvel G200". Choose "Driver" tab, and click "Driver file details."
(Sorry about all the detailed instructions. Old tech support habits die hard!)
3. After successfully installing the new drivers, restart your computer and reinstall Videowave. If problems persist, MGI should offer free e-mail tech support to registered users.
Anyway, those are the first steps toward a fix. Anyone with more experience with Videowave, feel free to jump in!
If I remember correctly this was the same bug I experienced when I installed the program last year. Tech support has a fix for this. simalar problem just like video studio 3.0 and 4.0 glick in the starup win ini files if memory serves me.
