Hi everyone.
I’m still stalling on upgrading my Mystique220/RRS!
I was all set to go with the G400TV a few weeks ago, but am still unsure on a couple of things.
a) Does the Marvel suffer from the “evil frame” syndrome that the RRS does.
b) Has the b/w frame problem when using MSPro5.2VE been solved with the new drivers (I’ll be using my RRS bundled MSPro)
c) Is it pot luck whether the “green flashes” appear or not on any particular system
d) Are the green flashes software or hardware related? The “looooong” thread got a bit too technical for me
e) Is the timer improved? At the moment if I record a 30min TV program it carries on until the hard drive is full?
f) How about the multiple capture files. I get around two seconds missing between files. I’ve got AVI_IO, but this is only a single use 24hour timer.
g) Or shall I stick with the RRS (better the devil you know) and wait for a cheaper version of the RT2000 to come out. Probably a long wait!?
Thanks for your continued efforts,
Nick.
Sys: P3 450, 128 RAM, Aopen AX6B+ m/b, SBLive, Teac 56 CDR, Aopen 48x CDROM, Fujitsu 4.3 boot drive, Quantum bigfoot 12GB, Maxtor 40GB 5400. Powerdesk 4.31, Videotools 2.10. plus cheap PCI modem!
