is it the cheapest solution since i already have the matrox g200? I just need basic screen capture. Just want the card to be dependable and reliable. HOw good is it?

If you really mean screen capture (i.e. capture an image of what is on your PC monitor - you don't need an RR-G - use a graphics program like Paint Shop Pro.
If you mean you want to capture images from a video/camcorder then i would suggest that the RR-G is the best option. Look around you may get it cheaper!

Yes.....it's worth the money.
But, it all depends on how long are you going to captured the movie and what is the final format?
Mjpeg requires......FAST hardisk and BIG space as well.
