  • Video Tools 2.02 for WIN2K

    Hi everybody.
I've installed VT2.02 for W2K and the result is that when I play a video I got a black/green image (50%/50% horizontal) and I listen to audio.
    I have a Marvel G200 and Win2k PRO, Matrox drivers 5.34

    Heeeeeeeeeeelllppp !
I have 15GB of video to export to VHS for a total of 3 Projects !!!

    Thanks a lot.
    Bye

Sorry, but now you know why MJPeg support was dropped in Win2K. 'tis better to run a dualboot and run the G200 editing stuff in Win9x/ME most times.

IF you had a G400 I'd suggest installing the PICVideo MJPeg codec and exporting them from the editors timeline using that and the DualHead/DVDMax mode of the display drivers. Works like a champ in Win2K using MSPro or Premiere.

Dunno about AVID because I gave up on it right after the G200 beta

It seems to be related to the hardware environment, because the combo you mentioned runs excellent, even with MJPEG for my Marvel G400 TV.
      Best Regards,

I have the same results in W2000 with version 2 VideoTools (with version 1 i get only system hang) , but is not related to the W2000 mjpeg problem!
I have exactly the same problem with windows 98 and ME if i install the VT 2.04 (i don't remember exactly the version, is the unofficial version), but with VT version 1 all is working fine.
In my opininion is related to the Marvel G200, is there any one that had success with Marvel G200 and VT2.xx?
        Ciao
