  • Help Cinema Craft and Matrox Marvel G400 captured video

Everytime I try to use this encoder to encode my captured video from PCVCR it says that it doesn't support the f/s...It says in PCVCR that it captures 30 frames/s ..yet Cinema Craft says it captures at 30.3 frames per second. How can I get the encoder to encode it. (Is there a way in which I can make it just capture 30 frames/second?) I used video tools 1.55 for the capture. I then tried to install the new leaked tools and it loads into the system of Cinema Craft SP 2.64 , but when I press encode it says wrong parameters... then it performs an illegal operation and it closes the program...the illegal operation box is still there even when the program is closed though bugs the heck out of me. It also says that in Virtual Dub when I try to filter my avi video. It encodes fine in Cinema Craft Lite, but I can't change the CBR rate. I can't seem to get Cinema Craft SP 2.5 to work at all. Whenever I press encode on any files I put in it performs an illegal operation...Anyone know how to fix this?)
I do not want to capture through YUY2 even if it works in encoding b/c it drops too many frames. I usually encode with TMPEG, but it takes so long. I was hoping that CCE would work for me. But it won't load any of my videos captured by video tools 1.55 and the 2.04 version only encodes in the Lite version. Has anyone gotten any of CCE versions to work with captures from PCVCR please help me. I prefer using the 1.55 version b/c the sound isn't very good in the 2.04 version so I just need to know how to get it to record at 30 f/s.

I have a 1.2 gig AMD Athlon Processor so I don't think it would be a problem. My video card is Matrox Marvel G400 and I have a KT7A Raid Abit board.

    Thanks in Advance

Try capturing with avi_io. It will keep it to the exact framerate if that is your problem. It also beats the crud out of PC-VCR.

I've tried that it drops a lot of frames. Is there anyway to fix PCVCR so it captures exactly 30 f/s

Why on earth would you want to capture 30 fps, if NTSC is 29.97 ???
Resistance is futile - Microborg will assimilate you.
