any one else have problems with the audio appearing to be out of sync on mjpeg files, playing from the timeline in Premier??
once the files are encoded to mpeg 1 or 2 or any other compression mode they play fine in quicktime, media player, anything else etc....
I'd like to capture full NTSC MJPEG 704x480 do my edits in preimier rendering any transitions or effects, and play the finished product right from the timeline back to tape, so that i don't have to compress my final output, or create a file over 4 gigs that millineum won't even look at.
I have no problems like this with DV capture, RGB capture, however, I use the matrox marvel for all my analog capture, only allowing 320x240 @ 30 frames / sec or 640x480 @ 15 frames/sec for their maximum rgb capture.
I need full NTSC resolution for output back to tape, and the MJPEG codec does a fabulous job for this, however the sync problems I am having make it impossible to edit.
Any solutions out there?????
TIA
