Beginner

I've been messing around with my G200 Marvel and was wanting to get serious with pushing my little toy to its limits but trying to read some of these discussions makes me feel like I'm listening to aliens.
Is there some FAQ or something that will help me with all the basics and beyond, a sort of "Video Editing For Dummies"?
After I learn the basics and the lingo then I can start bothering you about the best way to record 2hr movies at top quality without being killed by the 2-4Gig limit and no "pauses" in a pieced togther mpeg.

If you arrived on the forum without hitting the main site, you've missed out on a whole lot of goodies. I'll admit that they're not as up to date as they should be, but the good lord hasn't made 36 hour days available to webmasters yet (Fluggo, can you put in a word for me ?)

BUT there is 2 years worth of "Idiots Guides" (yes, honestly) plus FAQs coming out of your ears. Oh, and a download section, a showcase of users' own videos etc etc.

Don't ask for too much though, I might use it for sleep. I was just discussing this with Fluggo.

But if there's anything in the video domain, the network works around the clock, and especially now that the Doc and Kris are back online (sometimes) you can get answers around the clock. Now if Grigory and the Swamp Monster would join in again, things would get a lot more interesting (although I probably wouldn't understand 70%)
