The only rub: try finding an affordable PCI/66 mainboard with which to test it in that mode. Anyone ever price an Asus CUR-DLS?

Just for fun I looked up some prices on that Asus CUR-DLS and about $700 seems to be the current pricing. I'm sure it's wonderful but that's pricy for a mamaboard.
