  • -= G400 TV out Help =-

    Hey,
I have Matrox Millennium G400 DualHead, I connected my computer to the TV, and yeap, I can watch movies.
But somehow, I use SubViewer 3.0.51 and it won't show the subtitles on th TV. I tried using that DivXG400 PRR Video Utilite and no success, I couldn't find where to out put the subtitles.
    Please help me.

Even the SubViewer promises to show subtitles on TV, it can't handle Matrox DVDMax mode. So You may forget about it.

The subtitle help of DivXG400 isn't well written, I know but it is actually bretty simple:
Name the subtitle file according to the video file (or just "Subtitles") and put it to the to the same directory with clip or to DivXG400 home directory. Subtitle file extension depends on subtitle format (see readme)
For example if You have "Matrix.avi" and MicroDVD subtitles for it, name subtitle file "Matrix.txt". Then place the file to the same dir where Matrix.avi is located. If the clip is in read-only media, like CD, place subtitle file to DivXG400 home directory (typically C:\DivXG400).
DivXG400 home directory has higher priority, so if there are subtitles on both locations, home dir's one is used.

Then launch Your player and subtitles will be shown automatically.

      Hey prr

      Hey,
I've just tried to do what you said, didn't work.
      Lets say I got Frequency.avi, I also have Frequency_EN.txt
I put them at C:\DivXG400, then I go to the DivXG400 PRR, I got there a Subtitle section, and in this Subtitle section, there's "In use" and then below, "Language" , but I can't browse or do anything.
I just reinstalled DivXG400 PRR, and I don't have anythin to configure in it? I didn't touch it at all..

As I said, clip name and subtitle name must be the same.
        Rename Frequency_EN.txt to Frequency.txt

          PRR

          Heya,
Heh.. It makes me think Iam even dumber than I am
I changed the name file of Frequency_En.txt to Frequency.txt (as the movie Frequency.avi)
but on the DivXG400 PRR (like your nick?) I don't change anything?
I don't know what to do there.. and again the confused smilie:
