Weird Behavior of the Marvel G400 and Possibly RRG also
Not many people probably do this but when I connect my BOB to my Sony Playstation all programs are forced to record the video from it at 40fps and if you force it to 30fps in the program then then it desyncs with the audio. Yet when I connect it to my Sega Dreamcast which runs at 60fps it will record the video at 30 fps (as it's specified in the program). Now my question is.. If playstation can be recorded at 40 fps with proper sync can I also specify the program to record the dreamcast at 60 and will still sync with the audio? also if i set the resoultion to 704x480 when recording my playstation then it will say its dropping alot of frames and the video turns out to be 30fps.. and the audio is sync'd.. weird isnt it? another question, is it possible to record at 740x480 above 30 fps or is it a limitation to the hardware? I think it dropped alot of frames from my PSX cause the limitiation was my HD speed.

What the hell is this place, a freakshow ?
My VCR can't record from my Megadrive, the colours bleed so much that Sonic is a blue fuzzball that takes up nearly half the screen. My VHF radio refuses to pick up those ole side-band transmissions I used to love. Shit, my PC won't even recognise the 20Mb MFM HD that I spent £500 ten years ago. You'd think they'd make all these totally non-related pieces of equipment talk to each other after all this time !

Well, Phire. I think that when you record at 740*480 at 30 fps you actually record at 740*240 60 fps. That is what NTSC is about, and if you follow existing video standards that how high you can get, what ever your NTSC source is.

Record those clips to a VCR and then to your marvel.
a VCR doesn't care about fps in the same way as digitalizrs.
