MPEG4 , DIVx , YUY2 Basics required
Hello
I´have read a lot of infos here and
i did the following.
I have installed the YUY2 programm which
patch the vid16.dll and make the reg hack.
I have installed media tools and then
i have replaced after storing the new.dll
with the old MPG4C32.dll so how described.
With AVI I/O now i can select YUY2 and
the Microsoft Compressor V3.
While Capturing 10 minutes only 1 drop.
Thats great but the picture quality is
horrible. In German i would say "Klötzchen
Grafik" I don´t know the english word.
I´ll try it with block or bulky grafic.
When i capture raw in YUY2 and compress
it later with virtual dub then its near fine. The Raw Capture has an annoying
RED bar at the bottom (5-10 lines i think)
by the way,
while capturing i see two
pictures on my TV. On the left the LIVE pic
stretched double high and on the right there
is the picture which was there when capture
started. ( YUY2 PAL 352x288 25 Frames)
With the RAW File i have made several tests
with Microsoft V1-V3 and DIVx. The resulting file sizes vary not a lot. Quality 0 - 100%
and Data Rate. I can´t see the great difference. Not in the picture and not in size. I don´´t understand the rumour about
DIVx because i must while playing with
Media Player always go to the tabs and
increase the quality but it never reach
the quality from Microsoft (Sorry)
What I´m doing wrong.
Under Adobe Premiere i can make what i
want. Always 75% Quality. When i change
the parameters from V1-V3 they are not
recognized. When i look twice it seems
there are Defaults which i can not change.
It would be nice if someone could help me
with "Basics" because i am neebie but not
hopeless. I have a second posting one day
ago but no one has answered.
Hope someone understood this horrible english
