    Promise Fasttrak TX4 lagging

    I just checked the online store mwave, and it says that they are going to have the Fasttrak 100 TX4 in stock 9/4/01. Who can wait that long!!!??

        I preview new products for Promise to see how they'll do when used for video editing. As such I got my FT100 TX4 some time ago.

        What I'm waiting for now is an affordable PCI/66 capable mainboard and some drives fast enough to really test that mode of operation.

        Until then it's limited to using PCI/33....
