Marvel G200/G400 Soft differences under W2K

Hello' everybody... here I am again with my Marvel G200 under W2K...

I know what I'm about to say may sound too simplistic, but trying costs nothing, so I ask...

Given that the same Drivers/ VT set is used for both the G400 & the G200 under W2K, is it possible that something simply doesn't get installed when the installer detects a G200???

I'm mainly thinking about YUY2 support, of course!

I remember someone on the Matrox Forum saying that the G200 wouldn't get YUY2 support because of some royalty-related issue with the Lig*s encoder, or something like that...

It would be nice if some of the people getting YUY2 on the G400 in W2K, could post just a list of the files they have in the "Matrox video Tools" directory, possibly with their size/date and the version they have installed!

Also, Andy W, which has apparently the only G200/W2K setup working with YUY2 in vidcap could do the same...

Ok! Please, if this doesn't make any sense, please don't flame me too much... as I said, probably it was worth trying to ask!

I have a G400DH/RRG, and under Win2k I am getting YUY2 ONLY with PC-VCR, NOT with other programs like Avi_IO.
