  • Macrovision, and VCD creation. (1.54VT)

Ok, many questions, and I know you've heard it all before. I love AVI_IO one of the best programs to use for capturing video. However, when I capture something with AVI_IO it uses the "Videotools/PC-VCR" drivers, correct?? I have VT1.54 and have supposedly cracked RRAPI.dll with the Macrovision crack, but it still comes up Macrovision dialob box, and stops the capture. The crack said it work cracked the file succesfully but it still doesn't work.

Ok, after I've captured something (Using YUY2, and Huffy) I just encode the captured file(s) to MPEG-1 and burn it with Nero??

And which is better or what practicality is achevied of using either VCD or SVCD??

    Added:

    I have Win98SE.

I had the same problem, and it was recommended to me to copy the patch files to the \windows\system directory then run the patch from there. It worked.

I run VT1.52, so I don't know if this applies. I think maybe the reason I'm using 1.52 is because of the mv patch, but I can't remember, duh.
