Macrovision for Video Tools 1.55????

I'm using Matrox Video Tools for Windows 98 Version 1.55.043 with my G400Tv, and have been looking for a macrovision patch, but can only find patches for older versions (& v.2? - is this just for win2000?). Does anyone know where I can get a newer patch, or if these older ones will work anyway?
Sorry if you've heard this question a hundred times before, but I've searched and not found anything about it....

Does anyone have a patch for VT 1.55? I found lots of threads asking about it, but none with any info in them...

You can patch the dll's yourself using a hex editor. I did this on VT1.55 and it worked well. Instructions below;

RRAPI.DLL
---------
00 00 85 C0 75 13 83 7D 94 00 74
becomes
00 00 85 C0 EB 13 83 7D 94 00 74

VCAP16.DLL
----------
83 7E EE 00 75 06 83 7E F0
becomes
83 7E EE 00 90 90 83 7E F0
