Hello' Forum!
After several install/deinstall of some different PD/VT, I'm experiencing now a problem...
Upon startup, AVI_IO gives me an error about not being able to initialize the capture driver.
By looking in the Device menu, I've found that the Matrox VidCap gets installed AFTER the VFWD-something driver and AFTER a driver whose name is unknown, since it is shown with simply a BLANK LINE as its name.
The Matrox VidCap used to be the first driver listed, now it installs in third choice.
the same happens if I look in the Virtualdub capture options and, I suppose, in every other program that calls for a capture driver.
Already tried deinstall/reinstall PD/VT, to no avail...
Is there any way to get rid of that "Blank-line, no-name" fake driver? How?
Also, selecting the VFW-something capture driver, always yelds an error message about not being able to initialize it... is it normal or should it work, and if it's normal that it doesn't work, can I get rid of it too somehow???
thanks in advance!
Ciao!
