Marvel G200 under Windows 2000

I know their isn't any proper drivers & video tools yet for win2k, but has anyone managed to get one of the other drivers to work properly.

I can't seem to get powerdesk or directx 7 applications to run.

At the moment I'm running of the mirosoft mga driver. everytime I try to install 5.03 it puts the display back to being a standard VGA.

I could install 5.03 drivers for G200 @ 2000.
However, I found this drivers to be useless for me - they allow only ONE 75 Hz refresh rate. In readme, Matrox says that "display property sheet is currently not available". Good idea - to release the drivers that make my eyes suffer, and provide no ability to change the refresh rate.

The drivers from 2000 setup work well in 2D and set 85 Hz refresh rate only. I use the card to work with 2d applications only, so only refresh rate is important for me.
