Does nayone know how to convert WMA to another format?

I need to convert Window Media Audio/Video (WMA) to another format (AVI, MPEG, ETC...) I have Ulead 5.0 but can't read form my firewire card, but WinME Movie Program can and works great, except it creates a Windows Media file that it won't save to another format. Seems like every time I use a Windows Utility I have to find a way to my files out of the Microsoft spiderweb. I've lookimg around but can't seem to find anything.
