    Patrick

Obviously, my reaction was the same, but I wasn't going to say so until you broke the ice. Must be all that hockey that does it

Blimey Pacguy, talk about the worst of both worlds...

Although I agree with Doc 100%, DV isn't the panacea it;s sometimes made out to be. Then again, you can spend thousands chasing the "perfect" solution.

Hey, Patrick. Talking about hockey, the new assignment I'm on is just round the corner from the London Arena, home of the London Knights hockey team. Mebbe not up to Canadian standards, but they're in the UK's premier division and close enough to go see live. Might be a fun night out

Don't talk to me about hockey!

Hey guys, ordinarily I'd love to talk about hockey, but I tore up my left knee while playing hockey last April and I'm still limping around somewhat. I guess the healing process gets longer as we age! However, I'm not about to hang the blades up quite yet. I figure I'll be able to skate better than walk this season.

although grainy looking in indoor environments seems to be good so far.

          "ice ???"

we here in aus only see ice in our freezers, and then its still melting.

I like my Hitachi Hi8 camera. Footage captured through the S-vid connection looks very much like Kodachrome, which I love.

The lighting requirements appear about the same, too.
