How important AGP drivers ?

Hi All,

I had an argument about the installation of AGP drivers. I argued that they must be installed for the AGP video card to work properly, but on omitting these drivers the card (Matrox G400-TV) apperently worked just as good.

Can someboady explain ?

If you are forced to have an argument about the installation of drivers, then I am afraid you are talking to the wrong people.

Drivers are needed and required for the proper functioning of all the features on a piece of hardware - no matter what it is!
