Preparing to enter the NLE world. My research has me at the Matrox RT2500. Seems, however, to be many cautions about hardware conflicts, and camera conflicts, and turnkey versus custom built. Bottom line is: Assuming I already have an RT2500 with its nice bundled software, can I put a system together (minus monitor) for $2,500? If so, what am I looking for? Motherboard, HD, Graphics card etc.? My end goal is to produce wedding and Special Interest videos, with some nice special effects.

Somehow my sense of urgency to get a system is tempered by recent events. Have friends in the Pentagon, waiting to see how they are.
