  • Just picked up a Philips Rhythmic Edge Soundcard

I'm trying it out in my second system. So far so good. Easy install and the install software was very minimal, it didn't force me to install a lot of garbage.

This is the least expensive of the 3 Philips soundcards. Does anyone have any user related info on them?

Please post your experience with it. I am seriously considering buying a Philips Acoustic Edge (pretty much the same card, but it has got S/PDIF input) once it is available in Europe.

Did you already try video capture with this card in your system?

I've got a acoustic edge. and it sounds great, previous I had a AWE64. The sound is crispy and clear , I'm still using two old hifi speakers, so I haven't tested the 5.1 surround sound yet . I'm still waiting for my DT2200 that I ordered.

And your right Alexei they are hard to find in Europe.
