hi how's everyone doing
I've been capturing at the PAL CIF level with Avi_IO using HuffYuv for ages now and am happy with it with no probs.
oh yeah I have a Marvel G200 P3-450 128mb-ram IBM Deskstar 16gig-7200rpm
ok so now I've started SVCD vidcaps, here are the relevant settings in Avi_IO 3.2 (Trial)
- Video Format: 704x576
- Compression: HuffYuv (Predict Median)
- Custom Size: 480x480
it captures fine, at around 5-6 mb/sec, which is comfortable for my CPU & HDD to handle.
BUT! the bottom of the videos are cropped! There was no cropping during capture looking at the overlay - there was no cropping at capturing at video format 352x288, and also using video format 352x576 to go to 480x480 didn't stop the cropping.
so I'm wondering if any PAL users vidcapping at these levels have experienced this cropping?
