Hey Guys! We attended the NAB 2000 conference in Las Vegas and seen the Vegas Video live demonstration. Holly Toledo! What a nice interface and the ability to use photo's and bmp to create avi's. And also to mix all media types together even on the same track! WOW! We also found out by calling here in the states that the release date will be about late May 2000. Price $699.00 US dollars.
For making video files for the web, this program is got its on niche, asf, quicktime, Real G2 player. Just minutes away from creation after you import your file to the program. Also we have msp6 and havn't experienced any problems opening and running it, as well premire 5.1.Running directX 7.0 drivers. Another nice feature is the 99 tracks, so you can stack your clips and fade over and position them anyway you want to. Just remember that the longer you make the file if your going to save as a NTSC DV FILE it will take along time for rendering.Have fun!
