I like to capture using huffyuv in virtual dub. But I have a problem. I want to record stuff while I'm not there. Is there any recording program in which I can set a timer so that it will automatically start at a certain tme with certain compression settings? That also does it at good quality? THanks so much guys...

One other question. I have a wintv card. It's not a Go because it can do stereo. It has video in, s-video, as well as radio. I run windows 2000 with a geforce 2 mx dual monitor. Is it not possible to run the wintv output at a resolution higher than 640x480? I am not able to. Also, I have no cluse how to turn overlay on.

just a quick thought, maybe task manager and a program called recorder. I think that recorder is on CNET (not sure). It is free and you just go through the motions with the mouse, it records your actions and then you can save it. Be sure to associate the file with recorder.exe and put it in task manager or scheduler or whatever.

just the fastest thing that I could think of.
