Codec problems. Please help!
Hi everyone,
Can anybody please help me?
Up to three days ago, I could play SVCD and mpeg2(.mpg) files created with bbMPEG on my system through Media Player 6.4 and PC-VCR.
Then two days ago every time I played an mpeg file I got a warning from Ligos saying my demo was about to expire even though I’d uninstalled it ages ago.
Yesterday when playing SVCD and mpeg2 (.mpg) files from bbMPEG, got an “attempting to download codec” from Media Player, which when cancelled would allow the files to play although without the time bar.
Now I cannot play SVCD or mpeg2 (.mpg) files created with bbMPEG or mpeg2 files (.mp2) created with LSX Lite, which came with my G400TV?
I’m assuming I’ve done/am doing something stupid?
Can someone point me in the right direction?

PS Walrus - I think my Pioneer 626 will play SVCD's as the 525 apparently does. I'll find out on 30/4/00 with Nero 5.
