  • Frameseving from MSP6.5?

    Hi,

Has anyone gotten MSP6.5 to frameserve to TMPGEnc?

    Thank you

    Nope.

In order to frameserve we need an AVISynth plugin to handle the handshaking and until Ulead releases an open source plugin SDK it won't happen.

While that may sound discouraging there is some good news. My Ulead contacts indicate there may well be a change of heart on this issue in the future.

    We'll see.....

I suppose most people want frame serving to be able to use TMPGEnc with MS Pro.

Well, why can't Ulead just put a really great MPEG encoder in MS Pro?

The new encoder in 6.5 and the DVD Plug-In is very good in MPEG II, just about as good as TMPGEnc at higher bitrates. But, it is very bad with MPEG I at lower bit rates for some reason.
