BSOD MarvelG450 Win2k

One frustrated individual requires assistance

I've just upgraded my MarvelG200 to a G450, am trying to get running unver Win2000.
As soon as I hit the Matrox PC-VCR button I get the 'Matrox Quick Connect' box telling me hardware is not available or in use, not enough memory, reduce resolution and 16-bit... you know the one... then I get the BSOD STOP 0x00... PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES for a few seconds then reboots.
Have tried 1024X768 at 16-bit, same deal.

My system.
Intel D815EEA motherboard with PIII850 and 512MB RAM
Have downloaded and installed the D815EEA inf file
The G450 is running a 19" Samsung 955DF
Also a Riva TNT2 M64 running a Acer 17"
Clean install of Win2000
66gig HDD (6, 30, 30)
DVD, SCSI CD and SCSI Burner

I've tried the default drivers and V-tools supplied, also tried the W2k_535 drivers.

Some speedy advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have quite a few D815EEAA mobos combined with 450s running with no hassles.

May I suggest the following:
Have you installed the Intel ATA driver or Application Accellerator?
Have you installed the drivers for the onboard audio (PCI128)?
Try removing the Riva card and drivers in "safe" mode for a start and see if you can get it going.
You could also try dumping the DVD drive and any non Matrox DVD software you installed just to experiment.

Dam it...
Now I am frustrated.

I tried installing ATA drivers for the 815eea, then SP2 (glad have cable), still no go.
Then removed Soundblaster PCI64 (using onboard sound), and installed different nic (had 2000 drivers).

Fdisked C: and start again.

I looked up the BSOD error I was getting, something about a device driver leaving a mess in the I/O operations.

Then loaded win98se (b4 I get to 2000), thought I'd check out the new interface etc (looking for any form of satisfaction at this point)

All drivers loaded, still get the error advising me the hardware is in use, lower resolution, 16-bit... I tried 800X600 16-bit... arrrgh

If I hadn't spent so much money I'd have kicked it...

Now I've had no luck in either Win2k or 98SE.

Desperately seeking some wisdom.

Had a win, I removed the Riva TNT2 M64 and it fires up.

Anyone else out there use this card?
Settings I can change to make it work?

What is suggested secondary PCI graphics card for use with Marvel G450?

PS: looks great compared to G200 I was brought up with.

I suspect the onboard video controller of the D815EEAA will in the end dictate IF you can actually use a PCI adapter with the 450.
