MJPEG under win98 with G4503TV

Hi all
I posted a message a few weeks back about capturing with MJPEG using a G450etv under win2000, and found out that it wasn't possible. Since then I have downgraded to win98 (for other reasons).
I'm a bit confused.
When I installed the card it installs codecs for MJPEG, but I can't use them to capture with. How come? I thought this issue was only under win2000 - or is it also under win98?

I have that setup. Win2000 and G450eTV. I will try to capture using MJPEG(PICVideo format) and let you know.
