First of all: you don't give enough information!

    Second: It's a BETA releas!

Don't expect it to work as good as a certified driver or at all!!

    ------------------
    INTEL PIII550 MSI 6163
    G400Mill 32MB SGRAM + RRG
    SBlive
    256 MB RAM CAS2
    43GB HDD Space!(Actual 40GB) (13+30 Quantum drives)
Pioneer 104S DVD 10x CD 40x SLOT IN
    SONY CRX100E 4/2/24 CDRW

If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Put your bus speed back to 100MHz and multipler to 4.5X and the run the CPU at its rated speed.

This video capture stuff is flaky enough as it is that you don't need to add overclocking problems to the mix!

I don't know if there is a way to see this on the beta win2K drivers, but my initial G200 Marvel board kept thinking it had an RR-G baord as well which prevented the video tools from working giving a message like you describe. In the matrox properties I could find a list box that had MJPEG codec, TV-tuner etc. When my board failed, this box listed two MJPEG items "buit-in" and "RR-G". When working only the "built-in" entries were there.

This was intermittent enough that re-installing drivers and/or OS seemed to fix it, but it enevitably re-ocurred after a rew power off restarts. My only real solution was to RMA the board and the problem has not re-ocurred since.

Do you also have another Matrox board and RR-G? I'm not sure I understood what you meant, but are you saying the beta drivers work in your system with a Mystique and RR-G but you get the "other video hardware" message when you install the Marvel?

Perhaps you didn't completely un-install the RR-G and Mystique drivers or there is a bug in the un-install routine.
