bug in win98 driver??

i tried to install the driver for my matrox mystique and rainbow runner studio... but when i have installed my driver and i start win98 the system crashes... mouse doesn'T Move, and i hear the mouse moves in the pc speaker - you know.

if i run win98 in safe mode, it works... so it must be the new driver. i used the driver i found on matrox.de driver section, vid driver for matrox rainbow runner studio. the video tools are not installed yet.

if you know how to help me, please tell me.

I don't believe there's any bugs in the Win98 drivers as there's been plenty of time for any bugs to be exterminated. However, make sure you've loaded the correct drivers as I indicated in this recent thread.
