Capturing with Matrox Marvel 400 No longer works

Everytime I try to capture videos it says that the editing hardware is currently unavailable. It says it could be due to two problems: 1: another program may be using the editing hardware...I closed every possible program even the ones in the system trays and it still doesn't work.
2:ur resoultion could be too high it works best under 16bit color...which I currently have my settings at.
I can't figure out what else can be wrong. I reinstalled all the software again and it still gives me that error message.
Anyone have any idea of what's wrong?

Try a total uninstall of the video tools and power desk, then do a search through the registry (after backing up, of course) for anything to do with Matrox and delete every key. Then re-install. I'll give you a 90% chance it'll work.
