MJPEG only after and restart PC

When I capture video with RR+G200 in MJPEG format, then after captioning I need restart my computer(with button on the case).
Else in next attempt system pretended captioning, but on the end in info window refer: captured 0 field.
On the HD is file with good size. After playing I can see black nothing.
Capture to uncompressed AVI work fine all time.

More information is needed to solve your problem. Like which version of G200 drivers
and VideoTools are you using and which software are you using to capture (PC-VCR or something else).

It may be necssary for you to get a clean install. This would at least include deinstalling your video card drivers and the video tools as described by Matrox on their driver pages. Then re-installing the most recent drivers for your hardware. This fixes many problems. Worse, you may even have to reinstall windoze to get it to work. I was in this position recently.

I have PIII-500/128MB, ABIT BE-6, 2x IBM 18GB ATA66/7200. WIN98, drivers are 5.41.008 for G200 and 1.52.033 videotools. I try capture with Matrox remote, Ulead Video capture and VirtualDub. I reinstal drivers but nothing changed. Then I format one drive, instal system, drivers and all soft. And I am very sad. Now capturing is good with Ulead and VirtualDub. When I start Matrox remote and set as input TV, PC is complete freeze. TV not working. Without TV I can live, capturing is OK.
